Worms W.M.D. to have over 80 different weapons
The award winning developer and games label Team17 have today announced the full loadout of weapons for their upcoming title Worms W.M.D.
Alongside the standard 35 weapons and utilities, Worms W.M.D. will feature three brand new weapons; the Dodgy Phone Battery, Unwanted Present and the OMG Strike.
The Dodgy Phone Battery can be launched at a group of Worms where it will deliver a shock to any it hits, using nearby vehicles and objects as a conductor to further its reach.
The Unwanted Present can be delayed to explode between 1 and 5 turns after it is set. Just remember to stay clear of any you may find out there in the game, it could go off at any moment!
You can call in a satellite to bring in a laser capable of causing a huge amount of destruction with the OMG Strike. This new weapon is on a par with the Concrete Donkey and Armageddon.
As well as these three new weapons, there will also be a crafting feature in Worms W.M.D. which allows you to create such gems as the Bazooka Pie, Alloy Baseball Bat, Stinking Carpet Bomb and Electric Sheep. This new crafting ability boosts the available weapons and utility in the game to over 80. This is going to give the most personalised Worms game ever, with each player being able to tailor their weapons to their needs.
Worms W.M.D. will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC later this year with an extensive single player campaign and local and online multiplayer for up to six players.
